My Plushies X3

Description

I noticed a few people here and on FurAffinity uploading photos of their plushie collections, so I thought I'd do one of mine. YES I STILL SLEEP WITH PLUSHIES. >=] These are my favorite ones. I have many more, but they just sit on shelves mostly. Descriptions:

:bulletblue: Lakota
She's the large wolf at front right. She was bought online through the International Wolf Center's Wolf Den Store, and is my most cherished plush. I sleep with her every single night. :cuddle: She wears a purple collar with a custom tag, which you can see here: [link] Lakota is named after the real-life wolf that lived at the International Wolf Center. She passed away last November at the age of 15, and I like to think that a form of her lives on in this plush. I felt that the real Lakota and I shared a spiritual bond, which is one of the reasons that this plush is so special to me.

:bulletblue: Kamots
Kamots is the Folkmanis Timber Wolf puppet resting on the German Shepherd's back towards the right. He was purchased on eBay and I've had him for about two years. Kamots is also named after a real-life wolf, the leader of the Sawtooth Lake Pack chronicled in the book Wolves at Our Door. I frequently sleep with him as well.

:bulletblue: Balto
Balto is, of course, the one in back left. :XD: He came from eBay a long time ago, about five years, making him one of my oldest plushies. I got him for cheaper than usual because of his defects(some rips/tears, matted fur, etc.), but he is still loved and cuddled. :D The Field Guide to Trains of North America is there to hold him up because he can no longer stand on his own.

:bulletblue: Howl
Howl is my smallest plush, a Ty Beanie Baby. He's sitting just to the right of A Field Guide to Trains. I've had him for quite awhile as well, and he's been with me many places, because I can stick him in a pocket with his head poking out. :XD: If you look REALLY closely, you can see a homemade ear tag in his left ear.

:bulletblue: Timmy
Timmy is the red fox at front left. I got him at a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World about a year ago. His feet are weighted, and he's very floppy. :D Timmy is named after a real-life fox that followed Grizzly Man around on his TV show.

:bulletblue: Tanner
Tanner is the German Shepherd puppy that Kamots is resting on. He came from the Nintendo World Store in New York City. That's a Nintendogs logo next to Kamots's left paw. =3 Tanner is my most recently-acquired plush; he came home with me after visiting the wolves at IWC in Ely-we took Amtrak up there and stopped in NYC on the way. He's named after my neighbor's German Shepherd. :XD:

And there you have it, a rather detailed description of my collection;) Enjoy!
