Golden Railroad Spikes

Description

Ever wish you could get a replica golden railroad spike, similar to the one driven at Promontory Summit in 1869? Well, now you can! :boogie: I am producing gold-painted railroad spikes from ones I find around my local CSX switchyard. These are wire-brushed by hand, thorougly washed, dried, and given two coats of high-quality metallic gold spray paint. They come in two sizes: the larger ones are approximately 6 1/2 inches, and the smaller ones are 5 1/4 inches. Large ones are $5.00 and small $3.50. Contact me for shipping cost. U.S. shipping only for now. I will also be doing silver ones soon! :)

wow, I see I'm not the only one who does these.

BTW, Golden Spike NRHS already has a copyright for selling Golden spikes. They have small 1800s rail spikes that are plated in 24c gold and have the inscriptions on them. They guard that copyright zealously. SERM tried to do this not all that long ago and were shut down because of sales rights. So, be careful selling those.
