Now THIS is NOT something I expected to see when I went to Taft Yard today. One of CSX's four F40PH locomotives! Yes, F40PH! The locomotive that beats Chuck Norris!! 
These are usually used to pull CSX's Office Car Special trains, so I have no idea what she was doing here. This particular locomotive, 9998, is ex-Amtrak 280. Supposedly, these locomotives are not modified much, and they retain their original 16-645 prime movers. 
She was in a consist of three locomotives, with a Conrail C40-8W leading, a CSX YN2 C40-8W in the middle, and the F40 in back. You should've seen me, I went batshit crazy when I discovered what kind of locomotive she was. 
There was also a CSX MP15AC switcher parked in the yard, which can be seen here: [link]
